Our repair program was designed with the restricted
budgets of hospitals and clinics in mind. By repairing existing aprons
we're able to effectively half or better the cost of replacement.
This latitude in managing the hospital or clinic's
radiation protection budget will help ensure that adequate protection is provided
for both staff and patients. |

It is required to thoroughly radiograph the
item to ensure no cracks or pin holes appear in the lead vinyl. If defects are close to seams,
the item can be downsized by cutting away the affected areas. If this
cannot be done we can convert the usable lead vinyl into gonad shields or half-aprons. The quality of lead
vinyl beyond visual inspection is the sole responsibility of the
customer. Defective areas must be clearly identified
with a circle or an X. UltraRay Medical Products is not
responsible for the testing and quality control of aprons sent for
restyling or repair. |
